Short Term Saving

    Hi all,

    Hoping to go on a working visa abroad next summer so obviously need to save a few shillings beforehand. (5k approx).

    Any recommendations on the handiest place to save money (interest rate + ease of access when deciding to go) for around a year?

    Nationwide UK @ 4.00% @ 100 EUR - 1,000 EUR per month. The account is a 15 month account though you can withdraw the lump sum after 12 months you do need to keep saving for 15 months.

    Another option, KBC Regular Saver @ 3.50% @ 100 EUR - 1,000 EUR per month. You can close the account after 12 months.
