I'd say this thread is the busiest on boards while Liveline is on.

Even the Soccer forum doesn't get this many posts in such a quick timescale other than the couple of times each year Man Utd and Liverpool play.

Instead of wading through 27 pages of posts, is it worth getting the podcast?

    OH YEAH!

You know...I can't help but feel that cancelling those two concerts was a bad idea.

I had a quick browse of the podcasts, it's not up yet so I'm listening to the mother of the boy that was shot a few weeks ago; heartbreaking stuff. Their lives are changed forever, all down the the actions of some scumbag thug. I hope he gets what he deserves.

Mmm? You will get your money back from the tickets pal....the apartments....sheet man !

Blame the terrible banks for forcing you to borrow the money.

First predictable joke on tomorrow's Funny Friday...

'We originally planned five shows here at the Red Cow, but now the council have decided that only one can go ahead...'

Very good, I won't be listening to verify! If also wager 'Garth hasn't friends in high places' or some such hilarious pun on his songs

"Text 'BAN' for cancelling FF altogether."

I do love the hypocrisy of Joe and the League of Awful Comedians making fun of every topic he was solemnly tutt-tutting for the past few weeks on every single Funny Friday.

Just goes to show how insincere the entire show is.

Well for the first time ever I've listened to a podcast of LL - and to think that I was trying to wean myself off it not a week ago :D

    It was class!

I was stuck in work and could barely keep up with the thread, never mind listen in to it - but oh my goodness, talk about a discombobulated Joe! He was THICK! Liveline gold!

Will he ever mention the poll again? Should we open a poll on that issue? Vote Y (with a fiver in a brown envelope to verify the vote) if you think he will, N (with a tenner because you're on a surefire winner) if it'll never be heard of again :D:D:D

Didn't catch the show today but what a start by you one and all to the new thread - 28 pages for one show will be hard to beat; be lucky if there's 2.8 pages tomorrow.......

Won't get to listen to the podcast until Saturday but looking forward to it already!

Today's show was hilarious. Expecting more Gareth Bruukes next week, as this non-story is set to develop

I caught Adrian Kennedy I think it is on 98FM before lunch today on this topic. He made Joe look an amateur, he discussed it impartially and corrected callers misleading points without getting all snotty like Joe does. Shows him up really.

You really think Joe (or RTE, for that matter) gives a ****?

Im with you Heidi, the pod cast had me in knots!

Liveline bingo full house and a few new bits of gold, "dattaabayyisss" was my fave.

Imagine the uproar if it were the concerts of a decent artist that were cancelled....

In fairness though, Joe's quick descent into insanity because of things not going his way makes for funnier radio.

That it does. The anticipation in waiting for him to become unhinged is what makes listening to the show sometimes worthwhile.
