A bright fresh day in Castlebar with the odd passing heavy shower. Great drying between the showers in a fresh westerly breeze

Conmaicne Mara

Real heavy showers here West Connemara, satellite signal lost. It's needed, shallow ground was nearly parched.

Despite all alarming warnings about possible thunderstorms, local floods, etc. weather was good enough (I'd say: very good) to barbecue some steaks, Polish sausage and chicken breasts. And a pint involved somehow.
