My art teacher was my favourite. I was a bit ditzy, (not stupid but just very laid back) and he never saw that as a flaw. I used to be behind with all my projects, and he'd collect everyone else's homework but never bothered me for mine. I assumed he wasn't wasting his breath but he told my mom at a parent teacher meeting that there was no point in fighting with me, because he knew I'd have the work in eventually, and that fighting with me just meant I'd do even less. He also told her my best friend in art class "minded" me, even turning the page in the book for me. I think he must have been like me, because he was very laid back too. I loved him, he was a legend.

Did you ever go on school trips
