Love it. The last time I went to France I drove a Honda ST1100 from Cork to Antibes via the Cork-Roscoff ferry. It's the only way to fly. Airports and the whole flying thing give me a pain in my left one these days.

    Ever ridden a motorcycle?

Only once, been a passenger a few times though. One was a long spin, I was walking like John Wayne when I got off.

Have you ever been at an F1 race?

Nope. Aside from that wonderful howl, the whole "glamour" and "celebritiness" of the thing would annoy me a great deal. I'd rather be above in the 'Della operating out of a half-knackered Transit drinkin' tae and struggling with a generator and tyre-warmers in the many pissings of rain. We need more proper racetracks in the RoI.

    What's your ultimate holiday?

A really expensive hotel with an extensive spa menu. I'd love to go to Thailand to get really good massages every day for peanuts.

    Are you more cultural?

I am first-and-foremost Culchied, but I do tend to wander into various nooks and crannies that'd be well off the tourist trail - museums, architecture and such, but not an awful lot. And the last time I was presented with a "Spa" menu I wrote to the Michelin Guide to complain quaaare lively! :D

Have you ever been to some really quare place out foreign like South-East Asia?

I spent a few weeks in Bangladesh. It was different. I'll say that much.

Who doesn't like their food served in buckets?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,111 ✭✭✭Jamaican Me Crazy

We serve food in buckets where I work (little steel ones), it's very kitsch and cute and people love it.

Could you just go for a nice fillet steak and home make fries now?

No, my oh is an accountant and is into all that keeping track of incoming and outgoings, and absolutely despairs at me because money burns a hole in my pocket.

Reasonably, I still have none though.

I think so. Might have been drunk at the time so that explains the uncertainty.

    Do you like Irish coffee?

I try not to but resolve weakens towards the end of the night! :)

Have you ever rang in sick after a night out?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,810 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

Many many times. Monday clubs and earlyhouses and so on. Now I tend to stick to pints only and haven't missed a day through drink in years. You have to grow up sometime.....apparently.

Post scoop kebabs - heaven. Yay or nay?

Yes, without doubt. A lahmacun please.

Is it always still a good idea when you wake up?
