I just wanted to flag up Pale Mimosa in The Curragh at 3:15, she was a late withdrawal from the Ascot Gold Cup she will love the ground and the yard are in good form.

Can't see the 9/4 lasting long.

I heard stable are very sweet on him tomorrow.
Not sure if your still leasing, but I seen
Pierlow won last week. I hope you were on course.
Can't see past pure faith in the C1 (yes C1 jumps in June) tomorrow.
Lost glory is the shhhneaky Ssshnake in the race with McCoy being the decoy on storm survivor!
    14-1 and 25-1 respectively.
Also fancy beachfire to get it right in the handicap hurdle

    9/4 Already going on Exchanges

13/8 with paddy power per Irish Racing

Will the ground be soft enough?

Good to hear the yard are sweet on her, I had a decent few quid already.

Pierlow did well alright, I am not involved anymore but delighted for the remaining syndicate members, a lot of money paid in and not much joy, it would have been nice to have a share in a horse that won a race but there you go.

Stone mad backing NH but had a look at that race, Bear Affair looks a good bet in that race, might double him up with Pale Mimosa.

She seems to do well enough on Good, Good to Firm.

RTE not showing tomorrow's racing. They bring us 4 days of shyte from Galway but they won't bring us Group One action from The Curragh

Has an additional 5lbs to carry when running against pure faith at aintree, also BA tends to run well fresh resulting in win at aintree.
Lost glory is ridiculously well handicapped given his form in this race last year serious swing in the weights on the favourite

    Hang the **** on.

I'd backed Pale Mimosa anti post for the Gold Cup. At nice prices! Fancied her big style.

Lost me dough as they pulled her because of the going. No qualms there. Thems the breaks etc etc in the ap game.

However. The ground tomorrow is also good to firm. What am I missing?

I recall an amount of confidence ahead of her season debut and she got stuffed, albeit after a drift on the day and the one that beat her wasn't half bad :). The betting tomorrow will tell her chances but I'd be wary of her. Hope I'm proved wrong.

One from the tracker goes in the last in Uttoxeter. Famousansfearless, backed already from 11/2 into 4/1. My comment when I put it in last November says, watch next time out.

And now I remember why, a pure non trier then. Handicapping now!

I wasnt sure why she was pulled at Ascot but she has won on Good and Good to Firm and wasnt far off Leading Light on the same surface albeit in receipt of weight.

That must have been a special, anytime I looked she was 2/1 or shorter across the board. More bookies have her 7/4 and 13/8 than 2/1

When I cliked through from Irish racing.com it said price had changed and showed 5/2

Back at 2/1 now though :(

Ladbrokes are hoors for that. That price never existed and near impossible to get it.

A few weeks back they went 10s on a horse I really fancied. 8s across the boards at the same time, it was on their website. Hopped in the car and was down in the shop 2 mins later. Still Showing 10s on the phone and odds checker, went to have a score each way, 17/2 I was told the price was, showed the staff the price on their website, oh that's gone they said. Load of bollox.

Think it'll be a Richard Hughes/Kieron Fallon cleansweep at Salisbury today. Have popped 4 of their rides that I fancy with Ginzan into a Lucky 31.

    Lucky 31
    L31
    1 Misterioso
    2 Ginzan
    3 Among Angels
    4 Sunny Future
    5 Silent Bullet
    31 lines @ €0.10 per line

Best price 5/2 now and 15/8 in places the value is gone for me hope you got on last night.

Got 9/2 yesterday, I'm happy enough with that now. Another gamble on in the same race, jazz man taking good money also.

Very short now at the prices as right and value is def gone now in such a big field.

Good to see the support all the same to back up my plot theory at least.

The horse needs a soft surface , better they withdraw it than run it on the wrong ground as it won't win on ground like today's

In reality the ground, which is of course the same as it was when declarations were made but probably cite a stone bruise or some other bull.

Big things are expected in the future from Quinta Verde. 20/1 available seems like a good e/w punt

I like noble mission in France today. Hope he gets the trip

She is 1 from 1 on good to firm, I think its odd they would withdraw her on ground basis, unless she was lame after that run.

Is there somewhere we can check reasons for non runners

That was quiet easy, the gamble came to nothing on wachmans.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,818 ✭✭✭Bateman

Impressive enough by Gleneagles, I only seem to back their maiden losers and now it would seem the reverse is true also, when I leave alone they win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 538 ✭✭✭ComplyOrDie

    Shoot.... :(
Gleneagles was one I was planning on having a few quid on and i forgot the time....looks like it going to be one of those days

Looks like Frank Spencer was riding there, you would swear he was on Frankel with the amount he left the horse to do

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,072 ✭✭✭le la rat

If spencer was up on usain Bolts back he would have him out the back in a 100 metre sprint

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,173 ✭✭✭hucklebuck

That ride by Hughes would be worth another look, he looked like he was getting up on the rail, he was about 2L down with every chance and over 1F to go and he just gave up

really wanted to take on ebanoran yet still managed

    derrinstown form let down again

    ambivalent in the next hopefully

Not a big fan of John Ferguson, however it may be a good time to side with BEACHFIRE in the 4:25

    - down 3 lbs
    - down in trip
    - good ground
    - blinkers reapplied
    - AP on board
    - AP/Ferg combinations over the last 14 days reads 24221, then again there are a lot of beaten favourites in there!!!!

7/1 or greater on some sites.

Nothing, just watched the race live on my phone and thought it was very odd for a heavily backed horse that looked like it had a chance..

The Irish raider wins. Why didn't I do it.

That Ismail Mohammed horse New Story that I put up on first two starts ran out an impressive winner today at Salisbury. Think he's got a really nice future ahead of him.

You must have had something on him because he was beat out the gate

Nope, like I said, thought he was getting up the rail and Hughes dropped his hands a long way out in a sprint. Must look again on a bigger screen when I get home.

Only backed the horses I mentioned earlier in the thread, I have little interest in flat so dont back much.
