going to bump this. I cant see past a Germany win, Algeria are possibly the weakest team in the last 16 and the germans certainly wont want to go to extra time and with the players they have they really shouldnt have to and I can see it being a typical clinical german performance...

Regarding Ramadan, there is an exception in Islam for when people are travelling (they can make it up at the end), and sports people usually use that to get out it. Ozil has confirmed he is not doing it this year; Algeria haven't confirmed it one way or another.

I would have been rooting for the Algerians, but after witnessing the robbing of the poor Nigerian team. I think the Germans might be the best team to wipe out the cheating French. My bottom line, as long as the winner can send the French home I'm happy.
