Best way to start playing Magic the gathering????

    There doesn't seem to be much recent stuff on here about starting the game, so I'm asking the question, whats the best way to start playing? My nephew has expressed an interest so I'm looking to get him started. I've read some stuff around the net about intro decks, pre constructed decks, deck builder boxes etc etc. I've seen a lot about different colours and types of decks and the like. But there just seems to be sooooooo much stuff. I dont want to spend a fortune either. Any advice would be appreciated :-)

    Check out that FB group for shops in your area. The most friendly tournament he could go to would be a Pre Release. It's a relatively casual environment where people of all ages come together and build decks with the new cards. He'll get a lot of help from the more experienced guys.
