Early nineties trance mixes and compilations

As the thread title says I'm looking for suggestions of good mixes and compilations, most of what turns up on a Google considers old school as early noughties, but I'm older than that My heavy clubbing days were 92-96 so looking to revive some memories and compare older trance to the modern trance etc my 16 yo daughter listens too I've found a couple of classics on YT, San Trancisco, Playing with the Voices, Elevator, Yeke Yeke etc

Also looking to source Eye Q records Behind the Eye vols 1 and 2 in mp3 if anyone feels like pointing me in the right direction through pm, had these years ago and want to add them to my collection once again

You won't go wrong with Carl Cox F.A.C.T. I always liked Reactivate 10 as well.

Mission into Drums is also an underrated gem from some of the guys in 90s german trance scene, although slightly mellower.

Yeah loved that Mission into Drums, really nice... plus defo 2nd FACT and Reactivate 10 - loved that, played the mixed version non-stop (including while working in the Leisure Plex in 1994 - many a time Reactive 10 filled the building while on the nightshift!) and hunted down the vinyl edition finally some years ago... just when I'd reached a point where I was never likely to play it anywhere!

Worth checking out 'The Secret Life of Trance' series on Rising High - you'll get a good dose of early trance, techno etc there. I always like the 'Voyage into Trance' mix by Oakenfold too, it's on the goa buzz though so that may not fit the bill. There are lots more that I can't think of right now but I'll add more as I think of them.

Right, managed to get my hands on Carl Cox FACT and the Platipus collection, still struggling with Reactivate 10 (although it's in overpriced hard copy on Amazon) and nowhere seems to have have the Eye Q volumes. I frequently buy from the first seller in the above list 'zoverstocks' - very good to deal with, item ships and always with me within about a week.

Superstition would be a good label too for early 90s trance/techno - you'll get a nice selection on their 'Classics of Superstition' compilations.

Its the bastard sound that killed trance IMO,
Early Trance was hypnotic like the name implies, the name lost all meaning after everyone jumped on the supersaw bandwagon.

I'd love to get a copy of those Ed Case mix tapes. I had most of them at one point, I think.

It was the Eye Q one that was especially nice.
