    Hi folks, I'm in my 40 and divorced with kids, have great friends but all are married and happy just to go to the local for a night out, I on the other hand, would prefer to go into mullingar and let my hair down a bit, not get stupid drunk or anything like it, just have a more adult night out with the opportunity to meet other singles, men and women as well. I've moved back to kinnegad recently and struggling to meet others in a similar situation. Anyone else in the same boat??

    Hi there OP and welcome to tLL.
    I'm afraid we don't allow thread looking for friends/groups here, I'd advise maybe try the regional forum?

    The other option is a private ladies lounge forum which is for just that, and you can request access from one of the mods. It explains in the charter of this forum how to go about doing that.
