What kind of heathen has King crisps sandwiches? They're called tayto sandwiches for a reason. Looks like the list was out together by an exchange student who spent two weeks in Dublin.

Proper apple tart made in a deep tray.

These plate "tarts" are a poor excuse for a tart & cinnamon should be no where near the tart

How has proper Irish soda bread not been mentioned here, or in that article...with a good lashing of real butter and a nice cup of Barry's tea to wash it all down.

I miss it, the simple things are often the best!

Or soda bread, generously coated with real butter and dipped into a nice bowl of leek & potato soup.

I'd disagree with some here..Chip sandwiches aren't an Irish snack. I think we owe a debt of gratitude to the Scots for the deep fried Mars Bar.
Can we claim crisp sambos? I hope so, They're delish.

    Hardly.
Crisps and coke, fat frogs, chipsticks, tins of mediocre biscuits. Crap, crap, crap.

The relish and black pudding are decent stuff though.

Oh yeah. Fresh Brennan's white bread and real butter with fried Denny rashers. Feck, I had forgotten all about that! Dinner sorted so. :)

    "Fanta" isn't always Fanta abroad.
In a lot of places Coca-Cola just buy the most popular orange drink company and rename it Fanta but don't change the formula because genuine Fanta would be like trying to pass off UHT milk to people used to drinking fresh milk.

Diet club orange is even better because a lot less sticky
