    Hi there,

My doctor thinks I may have sleep aponea and has recommended I get health insurance and get myself to a sleep clinic.

What provider/plan should I go for that will guarantee I can get to a sleep clinic as cheap as possible?

I have a standard enough VHI plan and a sleep study is covered, apart from the excess. I think it's down as a room in a private hospital, but the providers will be able to tell you. They usually say that they won't cover existing conditions until after the first year, but I'm not sure if that is relevant for this.

Just did a sleep study the other night and have a follow up in a couple of weeks to review the results. Will be interesting!
