Hi all. My daughter turned 16 in may and we are currently going through the process of changing over from domicilary care to disability.
As such I am still receiving half rate carers but have not received respite grant.
Been on the phone numerous times and getting different answers each time.
Do I have to wait until the disability process (which can take months) is over before I can receive the grant. Nothing has changed in her care.
