Looking for some help on this one. I have a Nikon D3100 which is showing up the "Lens Not Attached" message. Having googled the problem, the only solution offered is to clean the contacts, I have done this in the past and it has worked intermittently but now will no longer work.

I'm using a tamron 18-200 lens and I have checked this on another D3100 and works fine. Similarly, I have tried an 18-55 kit lens and the same message appears.

Any easy solutions to this? Should I send it for repair or am I better off cutting my losses?
