    Yes in hot sticky weather.

Breathable shoes help. Leather and canvas are much better than plastic. You can also lie down and put your legs up the wall. Cold water also helps for me but apparently you have to spray them the feet first and then up and not from the knees down.

Aww thanks for good wishes Addle, either way it looks horrible! I've found elevating my legs at every opportunity helps so give that a try if you haven't already :)

I have had ankle injuries on both legs but i think it has more to do with being overweight :-(

Yes and I thought it was just me!!
I spent the whole of yesterday in the back garden and when I came indoors and sat down, I noticed my ankles were huge!
My tummy was also swollen and felt a bit hard...not in a good way either!
Drank tons of water and this morning everything was back to normal.

My ankles and feet swell which means I can't wear lovely summer sandals or heels or anything with straps. From June to September I live in Birkenstocks unless I'm in work. Thankfully I've never been heavily pregnant in the summer as I think I'd have been on crutches
