Australia impressed me in the first game, particularly the two wide men. Cahill will give the Dutch back line plenty to think about if he gets service, more than Diego Costa and Torres did anyway.

Holland win I'd say, but it might not be as nailed on as it looks.

    Holland versus New Holland

Australia did well considering the age of their key players and the lack of quality in the rest of the team but even then, a woeful Chile put 3 past them. I really think that Holland might just smash Australia up, knowing that a big push will guarantee qualification and the chance to rest their big guns.

    5-0 for me.

Australia to be torn apart once the first goal goes in. Expect 10 men behind the ball from the Socceroos:rolleyes: until they're finally broken down.

I take it your referring to my post.

Their whoscored.com ratings from the last game.

in fairness, Mexico wore Green in their first game. If NED are the designated away team here their orange would clash with the yellow.

iirc it's a FIFA rule regarding what team is drawn as the 'home' team. in this case Australia are so Netherlands must wear their away strip, the blue one.

    Tentative start from the Dutch

So why did both Spain and Netherlands were change strips in their game last Friday?

Refreshing to see games in South America without those lads with the microphones scampering around, really annoys me that.

I was wondering about this too. A somewhat convoluted explanation here:
