    hello,

I know these kinda posts get posted all the time but any advice would be great!

I'm a young woman, 5 foot 7 and oover 13 stone, this is waaaay too much and I need to get rid of it. I know it's going to take some time though.

Anyway I've swapped to a pretty healthy diet, with a low carb in take except for some fiber cereal and wanted to go to the gym about 4 times a week. is it ok or should eat more carbs on days that I'm going to the gym? be cause I get way more hungry on gym days somehow.

Also is it bad to go to the gym 4 days in a row? I have a weird work schedule and it's really the only way I'll manage to do it.

It's okay to eat more carbs if you need them, but no one here can say whether you might need them or not unless we know what you're eating. Could you give us an average day's diet as an example?

As for the gym, I myself go 4 days a week in a row because of work, but I do something different every day (I do classes, so it's a different class each day, but if you're working out on your own plan I'd say try to vary it yourself). Also, I find that when you're going every day it's particularly important to stretch well!

    Thanks for replying !

I usually have a bowl of all bran or eggs or porridge for breakfast and prob about 2 coffees over the morning . then lunch I try have a salad and maybe a slice of brown bread if I'm starving. I usually have some fruit during the day and then dinner can vary. I try cut out pasta and that.

would you not do resistance training every day then ?

Yes, it is. You need to fuel your workouts. What you should pay closer attention to is the calories you're consuming. The difference between what you burn/take will be the deciding factor in whether you lose weight.
