What are these eggs?

My son found these under some leaf litter on a small patch of scrub we have around our oil tank. Wondering what they are?

The width of the tines on the fork are about 12mm, so the eggs are about 3mm in diameter. A quick google suggested they might be slug eggs, but I thought they looked a bit large and can't imagine a slug laying all those!

    I think they're centipede eggs.

    Could be!

Most of them are gone now anyway - something must be nabbing them....

They look rather like slug eggs to me.
