Thanks Eoin, that's useful to know and the Sub would be more valuable than what I would be sending.

I see you are withdrawing this on adverts. Surprised this hasn’t sold I think it’s great value. Bad timing for me if only the Christmas bonus was paid in October :)

Just a bump on this one. Deal for anyone interested .. may stick it on chrono24 (never used before) as little interest in adverts even though it’s fairly priced compared to what’s online

I'm in the same boat. Surprisingly low number of followers on adverts for mine. Maybe there are too many Breitlings for sale there at the moment?

Id have said Breitlings always seem a slower sale but then my omega hasn't gone anywhere fast and I think it's pretty reasonably priced

I'm getting impatient, and could do with some cash. Very good deal available on my Breitling. Feel free to PM me to discuss privately, or simply respond on my adverts ad

breitling can be a very hard sell, my last one was up for 18 months on adverts and done deal before i sold it on a different platform

they take too long for my liking

    The internet isn’t for everyone

They do take too long. They simply don't have the sellability of Rolex or even Omega. But that does make them good value for money. And bargains could be had (with the definition of a bargain being way, way cheaper than the cheapest comparable model on C24)

That said, there is a current model Omega Planet Ocean for sale on TZ for half retail, and that's not selling either. Although Omega retail have gone to lunacy levels. I've mentioned it before but I'm getting the impression that a lot of second hand markets are pretty stale and have been for a good few months now (since start of summer). Same for cars.

I've a few watches marked on chrono24 for a few months and just keep getting notifications that their asking price is being reduced. Definitely a slow down

Every cloud has a silver lining though. Might be a good time if you are in the market for buying. Could put out some sneaky offers on watches you have been looking for. I have my Breitling priced at €3.6k (no box or papers and on leather) and the closest I can find is the exact same watch on bracelet and full set box + papers for €4.8k

Lad offered me €2k and instead of being insulted, I am accepting his offer for PM to see if we can come to a price that we can both live with.

Sellers have been a long time realising it’s a buyers market. A lot longer than I predicted but inflation and prices held asking prices a little.

With inflation at 5-8% and multiple prices rises in the last two years….and secondary market still falling it tells a tale. Next year be interesting.

I’m looking to sell one of my watches. It is Ball Engineer III King 43 mm with blue sunray dial. Runs ETA 2836-2 movement. The watch has been worn infrequently since I bought it directly from Ball in August 2017. It has just gone through a full service worth €300 done by Ball authorised service centre, which included movement disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning of all parts, and inspection, re-assembly, oiling, regulation and pressure test. It got a new leather strap as well. Runs perfect, with +4s per day accuracy. It has two or three tiny dings just above and to the right of the crown. These are invisible to the naked eye and one would need a magnifying glass to spot it. Otherwise it is in excellent condition.

The tritium is still going strong as shown in the picture.

I’m selling since it does not get enough wrist time to justify keeping, and it will be replaced by another Ball, which hopefully I’ll wear more.

Price is €1300, collection only (Cork city). PM me if you are interested.

    More info on the watch:
