Second that - even if it says Fixed Price, I've often got a reduction.

Guys selling my 2022 Rolex sub no date . Selling it to fund another piece . Ite on adverts but will be pulling it from there as only gobshites on it now . Let us know if anyone interested. Will let it go to members here for 11800 which is a fair price . Paid above retail myself

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,184 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

In my opinion a TAG Heuer brand new at retail is a total waste of money but with that being said if it is what you like then crack on, I always wait for them to come on the used market and with 0% finance floating around people often get tags as presents and don’t like them or want them for whatever reason.

buy what you like and take your time in making that decision, think how long it takes to make that kind of money

    Beware of this user rachel889

They only joined and it’s a fake fraudulent profile . Enquired about my sub but dodgy as anything .

The feedback system is good. Once you see somebody that has a fairly consistent history over a good amount of time you are usually ok. Dont mind one or two bad feedbacks,, there a nutters that just leave bad feedback if somebody doesn't want to deal with them,, or you dont reply within 1 second. But generally the old guard on adverts are alright.

The fraud user contacted me through boards messaging. Not adverts which was a first

After my re-reg on boards some years ago I was a little unhappy at first that my adverts user no longer matched my boards user. But after a short while I started realising this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Fun fact. When I saw username "rachel88orOther" as last post on "Selling, Swapping..." under "My Threads" I knew it was a scam before I was reading the actual message.

They're all the same whether its email, boards, playstation messaging, WhatsApp, whatever else. Usually a woman's name, suggesting something youngish/hottish. And the moment you engage it's like 'wanna see my pics' or 'wanna send me some money' or 'want me to steal your watch'?

After a while you spot them from a mile.

Pelagos now sold to a chap from Waterford. I never thought I'd say this, but if ever a watch was almost too functional looking it was the Pelagos 39.

    Want to buy 😁

It's watch forum jargon. Like OHPF (on hold pending funds - fancy way for the seller to say deal agreed but didn't get the money yet), catch & release, FSOT (for sale or trade), FS (for sale), WTT (want to trade), etc.

Like hens teeth about 10 years ago when I was looking for one. Don't think they come up that often.

Hens teeth are incredibly common, Spork less so.

Ugly mash up and date placement is 🤬

It's a centuries old saying but feel free to argue with it.

Great looking tool watch with clear legible dial, maybe you've had one too many saccades saccades!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,340 ✭✭✭Cmar-Ireland

I had one probably 10 years ago. Traded it for a Turtle, but I fancy getting one again!

    Blancpain Leman Flybacj chrono 2185F

    Loose.

Strap a little tired (was on my list to replace and just didn’t do it).

    A bargain 3300 euro.

Find me a fly back chrono from a top brand that compares….!

That is not a mark between the 11/12 or 8 o clock. Was raining as I took image and it’s a tiny rain drop. Case in excellent condition.

You've priced it to sell, but I guess the market here is very limited for it although I'd say a few boardsies would be tempted alright! Do you ever try selling on TZ or is that now too much hassle after Brexit?

i am an extremely lazy seller. But there is a big EU membership there I guess but I kinda gave up on TZ sales corner since Brexit. A weekly check on it now for interest when before it was an 8 times a day check.

That’s a lovely watch and much cheaper than I would have expected

@banie01 buys for €3k, keeps for a year, watch has become hugely popular and he sells it for €20k on consignment with our Dutch pal up North 😂
