If it was that bad I hope you refused to pay. What was wrong with it?

Go back and burn the place down with everyone in it.

    Then feast on your might.

More details would be great, I.e. Just HOW bad was it? What did you have? Where was the restaurant?

Anytime I've had a bad meal I've complained to management, usually follow up with a letter and invariably get my money back. A bad meal shouldn't be tolerated so I'm assuming you did all these things rather than just meekly pay the bill and then come swiftly on to AH to moan about it?

Agree with you, but you cannot name a restaurant
    On boards because thier may
    Be many reasons behind it.

Like someone that worked for them and got the sack and came on here to put them down.

It happens. So they are not allowed to do that.

Genuinely? The worst ever? In your life? Worse than that time you burnt the beans for the beans on toast? And there was no bread in the press? And no fork..?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,780 ✭✭✭Frank Lee Midere

Inevitably you will have the worst meal of your life. That's inevitable. It's your reaction in those tough times is what defines you, as both a person and a citizen. I.

My mum used to eat out of the saucepan. After dishing dinner out to 8 of us she'd have no plates left! :D

    Must have eaten here! :D
Dick's Last Resort teaches its servers to be obnoxious. In addition to the staff, the decor is considered to be "wacky". Patrons of Dick's are expected to be insulted, or placed in uncomfortable situations. Adult bibs and large, hand-made, paper hats are given to diners to wear during their stay. There are no napkins on the tables: they are generally thrown at the customers by the serving staff.

Do you know what this is like?

It's like a game of Cluedo. But without the clues. And without the murder. And without the fun. And without the point. But with food.

Right so. I'm blaming the Vicar for this one.

On an unrelated note, I have noticed that folk who buy these stupid group deals make the most noise, thinking that they are entitled to sun, moon and stars for their poxy voucher. Read the damn t&c's people.

I recall one of those American burger chains running a "design and name your own burger and win a prize!" competitions.

Mine was a single lettuce leaf called "The Karen Carpenter" and was in 4th place and climbing when they pulled the competition. :(
