Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A&R Gets New Title Thread!

    So,
    That time has nearly rolled around,
    When a thread hits 10,000 posts and it's time to take it gently by the hand, out the back of the house, give it a shovel, make it dig a hole and then ask it to stand in the hole and close it's eye's, while you then smack it hard with the same shovel. Hopefully it'll be done right first time or you're going have to do it again and again until it's out, before filling the hole back in and planting something decorative, like a shrub on the site to remember it.
    Then, start a thread with an amusing story to come up with the new name.
    Only this time we have some breathing room and the thread hasn't been put out of it's misery yet, so no one tell it what's in store and ruin the surprise!

    So....
    The point....

    YES!

    We need ideas for the name of the new Gets thread.
    When we get a good few we'll introduce a poll and pick the winner that way.
    Or, if you all choose Atari Jaguar, I'll just pick my own, or as Logie and Myrrdin, who knows.

    So, fire away with your most creative efforts, and remember, nothing involving genitalia or excrement will be given extra credit, they'll have to take their chances like all the others.

    I wouldn't agree to mod such a thread, don't need someone presenting their new console or game whilst reclining, in an imaginary provocatively pose, frightening all and requiring an immediate ban for inappropriate nudiness.
