Camcorder or DSLR?

    So, I'm doing my Leaving Cert at the minute but over the Summer I hope to make some short films with my friends. Would you guys recommend a €200 camcorder or an entry level DSLR?

    DSLR - you won't get manual control of iris, shutter and so on with a €200 camcorder.

    Don't forget to pick up something to record audio as well. Zoom H1 is cheap and cheerful if you're short on cash.
