    What are the average running times to do a 10k?

    I don't know about the average but I think like 40-50 minutes is ok. I heard from one source that you must be able to do it in under an hour to get a karate black belt. Not sure how reliable though...

    There's a pretty big difference between 40 and 50 mins.

    It all depends on the person. I don't run much anymore but when I did I would do it in 45 minutes. A mate trains for it and runs 10k in 37-38 mins.

    A lad I play football with took 55 mins.

    We all played on the same football team once upon a time.
