What's even more surprising that some from Cavan would be prepared to spend a tenner at all , I thought brekkie in Cavan would be turnip and a drop of sour milk.

I always thought with lucky charms they may as well sell the marshmallow bits seperately because thats the only reason people buy them anyway.

I don't get the point of these cereals loaded with crap that are marketed at children. If you're going to give your kids something that's loaded with sugar why not just give them a bar of chocolate or a packet of sweets?

The worst offender is Cookie Crisp. Most parents wouldn't let their children eat a packet of chocolate chip cookies for breakfast, but they'll give them a bowl of them because Nestle tell them that it's cereal.

No wonder there's so many lard arse kids about.

I like those! They turn the milk into chocolate nesquik.

They aren't actually cookies you know. Probably wouldn't give them to my daughter though.

Ha yeah obviously but they were briefly sold in Ireland in the early 90s, for about two years maybe? I don't know why, maybe it was for the American tourists! Seems mad now though that they were

Man I love me some lucky charms

Whatever happened to Special K, they used to be delicious but now they're like crunchy cardboard

Yuck. America has made much better cereals like fruity pebbles, trix and Reese's puffs

I always thought lucky charms might be offensive to the irish. I hated the leprechaun as a child

Then a potato for lunch and some Guinness.

I don't get why so many people here go crazy for them, it must be the novelty or something because they're nothing special.

According to the manufacturer, Lucky Charms is 37% sugar by weight.

    flippin heck

Used to eat Lucky Charms al the time as a kid. I loved them so much due to the alarmingly high sugar count I assume. I could go for a bowl now though but I've already brushed my teeth and the shops are closed .

You don't have Irish Spring soap either I hear.

I feel a business venture is required. :D

I saw them in Tesco last night. I didn't buy them, I bought a box of Kellogg's Apple Jacks, which are awesome! They have a load of American food there in their imported specialist food section, next to all the Polish stuff. Im sure the Lucky Charms were €6, the Apple Jacks were on offer at €3!! Loads of Hersheys stuff too.
