Always buy a spare beloved toy, OP. You have failed this child. Try again and report back.

Awww, I know the heartbreak of losing a beloved Teddy Bear. It was Summer of '77, a weekend trip to the seaside with the family was meant to be the highlight of the season. However after a pleasant frolic in the tide, we went to get some ice cream and when we came back to our towels, there was my Teddy, GONE!!!

The tears flowed, the ice cream melted and then out of the corner of my eye, behind an overflowing bin I spotted Teddy..... on top of a Cindy Queen Ballerina Doll  The bástard couldn't keep his fuzzywuzzy in his pants for one weekend away. I was sickened and walked away from my best friend, never to see him again. Don't know what ever happened to him, don't care. Enjoy Lahinch ya randy git.

But anyway to solve your problem OP, google a pic of said toy, photoshop the Eiffel Tower behind it and tell your daughter he's on holidays.

Now I'm not advocating spamming but I believe you only need 11 more posts on boards to post URLs.

You could just make 11 constructive posts. Might be quicker than getting a mod to help you out, you never know.

Time to get yourself a twitter/facebook campaign.

Tweet https://twitter.com/TescoIrl and ask them if they could locate any that might still be in a warehouse somewhere...

Ray Darcy often features searches like this in his Fix It Friday Slot

Might be worth a try, he could ask his listeners if they can help you. Hope you find Ted.

I remember when I was a nipper I had a little bear I loved which I called Foggy Face. One day my brother threw him out the window and he landed in the garden of my next door neighbour who happened to own a really big dalmatian called Ziggy. Ziggy took Foggy face and ripped him to shreds before my eyes, shaking his head from side to side as mounds of (probably poisonous and now banned) fluff took to the wind.
It was hard enough to witness that at five years old, but what made it worse was that most of the fluffy innards got caught in the neighbours bushes, and stayed there for weeks, so every time I looked out my bedroom window, it was like viewing a children's version of the movie Hostel.

I hope your bear turns up safe, or you find a close replacement so that nobody ever has to know the horror an innocent bear can witness.

Aw sorry. I'm a bit slow today (more than other days ;))
I was wondering why you mentioned the seals.

I've been looking. The only one I found was on ebay but withdrawn. Maybe you could get in touch with that person??

The tag in the image says, "Little lovelies". This is probably a name of a for-Tesco range made by some company. I've had a search online but found nothing of use. It might help Tesco identify it though; the original manufacturer might have some.
