Dropping Irish??

So I'm currently doing 8 higher levels for the leaving including 2 European languages, French and Spanish. Is there any chance that I could drop Irish? Does anyone know? I don't wanna talk to my teacher about it until I find out if I can or can't. I don't want to drop any of my other subjects because I'm good at them and I like them but Irish is taking up so much time that I could be using for HL maths or something. Bearing in mind that I'm not originally Irish but I have been living here since I was 3, is there any way to drop it?? Thanks so much :)
