Whats the difference between a leeda 40rd coarse reel to a leeda 400rd coarse reel ? what does RD stand for or mean ,theres a €10 difference in price ? please help

I'd better say in advance I'm no expert but I'll tell you what I think anyhow! Them two reels are quite different. The cheaper one is smaller and probably less robust. It has 3 ball bearings rather than 5 in the larger reel.

Depends what you hope to be catching and what rod you'll be putting it on. The small reel will be grand for general coarse fishing. If you intend to be targeting potentially larger species you'll want the other one.

If twas me I'd tend towards the bigger reel. More versatile. It will be overkill if all you're fishing is for smaller species though.

If you targeting pike then you'll need the bigger reel. Them lads can get big!

I'd say for Pike, Carp and Mackerel you'd need a 6000 size spool.
