Norton Internet Security-Can't access settings

Not sure if this is the right forum to put this, please direct me elsewhere if it isn't. My Norton on Windows 8 is blocking Chrome again, happened a few months ago but I sorted it, new update and the same nonsense again. Not sure if this is the right forum to put this, please direct me elsewhere if it isn't.

My Norton on Windows 8 is blocking Chrome again, happened a few months ago but I sorted it, new update and the same nonsense again. So I need to add it to my exclusion list, say Chrome is ok blah blah.

Only thing is, I can't access the settings in Norton. Every time I click on settings it keeps saying "A different Windows user account is configuring Norton Internet Security. You cannot configure Norton Internet Security at the same time".

I have no idea what this means considering I only have one user account on my pc and as far as I know it is not on any other pc, possibly my laptop but thats switched off. Wrecking my head.
