    Hi all,

I'll start off with some stats.

    Weight: 11.3 stone
    Height: 5.8

The lowest weight I got to was approx 10 stone on Weight Watchers but tbh I am tired of counting points.

With regards to exercise, I go to the gym 3-4 times per week, I mostly do cardio (spinning classes/HIIT on a machine of my choice) or strength training (Russian twists, planks, weights etc).

    Here is my current diet.

    Breakfast:

Latte made with almond milk, bagel with Philadelphia extra light (I take the entire insides of the bagel out) or latte made with almond milk, scrambled eggs made with 2 whole eggs and 1 egg white

    Lunch:

Bulgher wheat salad with chicken, peppers, rocket etc. or fish and greens

    Dinner:

Latte with almond milk, fillet steak/turkey with a whole avocado and greens

    Bedtime snack:

    Strawberry yoghurt and/or fruit

I'm also in a job where I am on my feet all day.

Also, I love avocado. I could have one for breakfast, lunch and dinner. How much is too much avocado?

I drink once every 2/3 weeks. I'd have about 5 glasses of red wine or vodka and diet coke on that night.

I also have a take away of some sort on a Friday night.

I try to avoid sugar on weekdays, but would bake a cake/tart on the weekends (of which I'd eat about a quarter).

    Thanks

Scoobys workshop will answer your questions on the calories you need and MyFitnessPal lets you get a grasp on what what calories you're eating.

You need only use it until you know you portion size of X grams gives you Y calories (and associated macros).

As for avocados, every 100 gms works out about 160 calories. 3 a day isn't too much depending on how many calories you're getting on board outside of that.

Focus less on the number on the scales and more on the shape of your vody and on how your clothes are on you.

Hi OP, I could have written that myself. Same height and weight and looking to lose about a stone also!

I'm finding that because I don't have a huge amount to lose, that I am really struggling. I run and good bit and eat well...similar to yourself. I used to have a food diary on here and i read back over it the other day. Reducing my carbs seemed to work best although I find this really hard when I'm training.

I also eat avocado a good bit. The small ones (Tesco ready to eat) are 200 calories and a normal about 300-320 so that's a lot if you eat them 3 times a day :)

I'd be really interested in what works for you food and exercise wise!
