Hilltop Pharmacy in Raheny or Healthwave in Dundrum. Prices similar to what it'd cost you up north.

I think you can just email in a photo or scan of your prescription to the dundrum place and get a quote. I think you have to sign up as a yearly member for about €25 to get the cheaper prices, often the savings on the first purchase will cover this €25.

They had a segment on The Consumer Show last night all about this:

You sign up to Healthpass for €25 for the year to get the savings. There's a price list for a selection of medicines at that link.

In some instances they even do home delivery but not sure of the Ts and Cs for that.

They reckon the average savings are €200-500 p.a.

    Thanks for all the replies.
    I saw the RTE programme.
I will go to Dundrum and talk to them.

I checked with both pharmacies and prices are quite similar ( A hell of a lot cheaper than anywhere else!!) but i liked that Hilltop raheny don't charge for your annuall membership, I'm going to give them a go and report back for any of you that might be interested.

Donaghmede Pharmacy is about 25% cheaper than any other chemist I've used for contraceptive pills, antidepressants and anxiety meds.
