Yeah saw that too. Came here hoping to find one but can't think of anywhere else it could be. Obviously isn't on S4C.

The weather has saved its absolute worst for this match. Really bad now. Not a great evening to have the minus 21. Hopefully they get the rolling maul going.

...and SOB knocks on with his first touch

Although in fairness he did obliterate the first guy who tried to tackle him

That must have been 30 phases. Very slow making the ground but a try for Murphy.

    Job! 5-3 missed conversion

Strauss deserves the assist for his epic toss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

    Dave K looks sharp

Nice finish from Murphy with not much momentum. For a flanker he knows how to score a try

harsh call on Embra i think?

  • Subscribers Posts: 42,172 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

    Nothing wrong with that pass

Let off for Leinster. Edinburgh touch the ball down but a forward pass denies them the try. The conditions are good out there somehow so it's time to start showing how much better they are than Edinburgh.

Yeah on that pass it was but there was a hilariously wrong call on that Leinster maul at the other end of the pitch that it came from

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,994 ✭✭✭sullivlo

Cian Healy just squatted with McGrath on his shoulders. Beast.

  • Subscribers Posts: 42,172 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Has this been clarified before... what's the story with the use it call from a static scrum? What's the basis for it?

    I thought so too.

Yeah they were so illegal at that maul I couldn't believe it.

I thought that was a fair call, depended purely on when you thought the ball left his hands.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Leinster scrum under a lot of pressure, Nel has been good for Edinburgh this year.

I'm not even sure he did pass it. .. just seemed to hand it into his chest.

    Scrum is being murdered.

what is going on at scrum time? how does ebra have the upper hand there?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 762 ✭✭✭PeteFalk78

The first 25 minutes has encapsulated Leinster this year. Very sloppy, little creativity from backline and generally off the pace.

Denton off. Massive, massive blow for Edinburgh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭Quint2010

    Leinster are pathetic.

Boss just isn't with it this year. Please god McGrath/Cooney come through next season or we're in big trouble

Agreed. We absolutely have to push on from here now.

You'd have to fancy Leinster to pull away later but this has been a really slow start.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 911 ✭✭✭Irlandczyk

Not nearly in touch. What was the touch judge looking at?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

Cringing every time BOD goes into contact. Picking up a 4 week injury here means the end of his career, this should not be his last game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Leinster in being average as feck shocker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Kanrith

    Surely off his feet there.

Big wind making it hard to get into the right places.

I think he'd gained possession and was then taken off his feet, Cullen's limp attempt at a clearout was the issue there.

big wind? or maybe it is just another disappointing performance. ebra are closer to scoring next than leinster is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

    This is absolutely appalling

Leinster have been seriously poor so far. Attacking play is basically - pass one out from the ruck, run into nearest defender. Pass one out from the ruck, run into nearest defender. Etc etc.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,816 ✭✭✭corny

    Poor defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

We'd be doing well to get to 5-3 at half time.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,997 ✭✭✭Grimebox

    Redden injured?

The scary thing is that they've looked more dangerous and creative than we have. My guess is just another disappointing performance. Marketing dept will have to come up with something better than 'Leinstertainment' for next season, methinks...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

6-5 to Edinburgh, nearly half time.
