47.nil to Southampton. Llana to score 93 but they will disallow loads of them because he is far to o good.
His price tag will reach 58 mill. Liverpool will pay it to replace Suarez.

In all honesty it depends what united turn up.
The good swashbuckling united will win. The slow passing lethargic united will lose.

OP, please edit part of thread title to (aka Southampton vs The Champions)

Last time we will have that title for at least 12 months, may as well make the most of it.

    Match predicition; Southampton 0-5 United
    Wilson 2, Lawrence 2, Janko 1

Nah Van Gaal will have it mathematically wrapped up early March

The winner of next season's Europa League qualifies for the Champions League. They will most likely enter straight into the group stages unless the Champions League winner finishes outside of the Champions League qualifier spots their domestic league. If the Champions League winner finishes outside of the Champions League qualifier spots, the winner of the Europa League enters the Champions League in the play-offs stage.

Man Utd probably won;t have to worry about such considerations, hard to see Spurs losing to Villa at home and Utd beating Southampton away.

All depends if United turn up like they did against eh ... Norwich? For that one game where they all performed like actual professionals - you know, what they get paid for? After they mutinied against the old manager of course.

Southampton to win this in front of their own fans simply cos they want to perform for the home crowd, they understand what it means to play with pride and passion. 3-1.

Play the kids and hope Spurs get three points against Villa. Get the season over and done with.

    Glazers Out!

Apparently someone sent one that said "United 20 Gerrard 0" which really is tempting fate...

Would prefer no Europa League. Clear run through the league next season. Look how Liverpool benefited this season.

I'd like us to get it. The squad is big enough to deal with it, especially if we get in the amount of players we're hoping to. Personally, I really enjoyed the Ajax and Bilbao ties last time we were in it.

United don't look too bothered. You're going to get that in a game like this.

Wow, Vidic is bleeding badly from the mouth I think

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

Fitting that Vidic gets busted open on his farewell.

    Horrible performance so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,058 ✭✭✭Unearthly

    Mike Dean has been fantastic

Vidic looks like he shouldn't be back on the field yet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,814 ✭✭✭FortuneChip

A lot of poor challenges in the last 10-15 minutes.
Strange considering there isn't much at stake.

Vidic should be off, he hasn't stopped bleeding. I know he wants to play out his last game, but common sense has to come into it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

I reckon Vidic has one crunching tackle left in him for Lambert at some stage.

    Spurs 3-0

Looks like a 4-1-5 on paper with Fletcher in the middle

Only showing City where I am so I'll have to watch this later

I said Giggs would be outdone tactically in this game, his first real test, and just checked the score to see us losing which is no surprise

Not playing well, tbh nothing has changed with Moyes's days. No balance to the team or drive through the middle.

The only way United will be in Europe now is if BBC send Giggs to Vienna for Eurovision

For all the firepower up front, it's very disjointed

rvp up top and welbeck, mata in behind with kag and januzaj either side??

    seems ambitious

Zero heart from United. As usual, a lackluster defence, a non-existant midfield and a starved attack is leaving us floundering.

Ray Houghton commentating said that Scholes must be seething watching talented players like Mata etc. having so little influence on the game.

It's actually scary that we didn't even get a dead cat bounce when Moyes was sacked.

Lots of work for the next manager from a motivation perspective.
