Don't think it's just 'spiteful' United fans that wouldn't buy it, doubt any of them would wear it..?

    Great bargain alert.

Ok it wont suit everybody (i.e. spiteful Man Utd fans) but Elverys are selling the new Liverpool home jersey for 39.99.

    http://www.elverys.ie/category/Playing-Kit/0000000407

is that in store too or just online?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,026 ✭✭✭0ph0rce0

Cant argue with that, €61 on the official site

Also Use This Code ELVMOB14 to get it for €35.99 :) << ( €35.99 Collect In Store Only) (Or €39.99 Delivered)

Think the jersey will only be worn for a year though

Most kits only have a year lifespan these days.

I think this may be the 2013-2014 jersey, and not the 2014-2015 one.

It just says 2014, but if you look at the small writing at the bottom of the page it says:
The controversial new Liverpool Away Jersey comes with a diamond multi-colour pattern and a fresh new look for 2013/14.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,209 ✭✭✭maximoose

    But in the item page:
Warrior Liverpool Jersey - Home 2014

Kop on and make sure you are ready to support The Reds this 2014/2015 season.

Seems correct. Great price if you're a pool fan.

My first thoughts would be someone has made a boo-boo! Far too early for a discount like that, surely?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Super-Rush

Yes its the new kit for 14/15 season.

Great bargain since the old jersey is still being sold for €35/€55.

The spiteful part really makes you out to be bitter tbh, no need for that in the post.

Think Elverys have slipped up here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

Slipped up, alright. Like Steven Gerrard, the footballer.

I'll be getting that, anyway. I'm not mad about it, and still prefer the first Warrior one, but at that price...

I must be missing something or have the prices gone up?

Completely off topic and at risk of sounding "spitefull" but that's just one bad season.....not 24 of them

On topic and not at all spiteful try ELV05PM14 (not verified) for 20% off online (not mobile)

Managed to order it earlier for €35.

    Wonder will they honour it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

I'd say it depends on how many were ordered, how much they'll lose and how much hassle it would be to refuse it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,573 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

There was something similar with Ireland jerseys a few years back and they cancelled the order but if you emailed their customer care and complained they honoured it.it was posted in bargain alerts at the time.
Might be worth a shot if they start cancelling orders.

No such thing as banter with pool fans, last week proved that, BUT I will admit you deserve the league.

    Not with ye?

When pool drew with palace, the united thread was invaded by fans that put your club to shame, google rawk meltdown to see what twitter has to offer, plus my facebook was full of anti united stuff, pool have played the best football, have the best player and deserve the league but its not always the case.

Stop talking bollix Mick. The United fans were like snipers in the long grass waiting to pounce. I've posted on the Utd after the we lost to Chelsea saying that it was fair game the stick that Liverpool fans were getting as it had been months since Utd had a chance to slag us back for the stick you got all season. It's give and take, and once it doesn't go over the line about disasters or personal stuff then it should be a laugh and fair game.

Hardly bollox buddy, hear **** all the past few seasons the minute you get a sniff of a title you pipe up with we're finished etc, take a look at the forbes list there to see the difference between both clubs.

We give stick after what 2 games we've gotten it all season, grow up and take it like a man.

dont judge liverpool fans on what comes out of rawk.
you mention internet dikks, i could mention 70.000 man u fans singing liverpool songs the night giggsy basically hangs up his boots at the last old trafford game of the season, every team has their morons.

but fair enough ye, weve played the best football, been the most entertaining team, sh*t on youse, arsenal, everton, and many others.
but blew it when it mattered most.

You're embarrassing yourself now Mick, get a grip. You are getting into a Mickey measuring contest when all it is is football, it's supposed to be a laugh, and the slagging is a part of what makes it a laugh.

Anyway the bargain is gone and the thread has been derailed enough, wanna continue this convo, pm me.

Did you really mention forbes in a discussion about football?????????

as for the finished jibes, i genuinely feel thats the case, ive felt that a few times over the years and its come back and bit me on the arse.
    this time is different though.
