Delighted with Easley! See my write up in the Mock Draft for what I think of him. Love this pick.

hes quiiiiiiiick off of the line would have thought he would be drafted to an out and out 4-3 team though

Greg Cosell mocked Easley to NE earlier this week

As per usual we are shocked. Easley projects to be a DT in the NFL but coming off an injury, I am disappointed. I think he could have been gotten later.

Reminds me of Dowling pick...reach on a guy with too many injuries, again no idea how it ends up

Too small to be DT in the NFL presume he'll be a DE

Easley has great potential and upsides but lets face it two ACL injuries in his career and he is only coming out of college doesnt build me with confidence when our biggest problem with our defense has been what.... Oh yeah injuries. His health will decide whether or not he is going to be excellent or not. And with that Im off to bed off to South Carolina at the crack of dawn.

    Excellent pick for the 49ers.

Sensible pick from the 49ers. Thought they might trade down but they have enough picks

chip kelly said the marcus smith was simply the best player available on there board

two first round safteys in two years for the 9ers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,441 ✭✭✭The Big Easy

The second round is almost as interesting this year.

Every Eagles writer was making a laugh and saying thats exactly what he'd come out with though

Cleveland had a very good draft. Must be remembered though the one blemish, getting raped on a needless trade up to 8

true really unsure what to feel i mean i trust bill davis, chip kelly and tom gamble and howie roseman has actually drafted very well so from that side im high but on the other hand we shurly could have gotten him in the 2nd even that would have been arguably a reach

but they lost a 5th rounder gained a 1st rounder from that it was almost the same deal

    Teddy please. Please

    has to be Bridgewater

do it. beat the texans to it

There was no need to trade up for a player the Vikes had no interest in.

    Anyway, Yahoooooo Bridgewater!!

I pegged the Vikings as the perfect landing spot for Bridgewater. I hope they've taken him.

    Vikings just destroyed it.

vikes will be very good this year

so do the texans take another carr next or do they explore a trade for a mallett or a cousins

I'm delighted for Teddy. Vikings finally get their QB and it's a cracking spot for him to land. Nice way to round off round 1.

It looks like there's going to be so many good value picks tomorrow. As The Big Easy has said, it looks like being just as interesting as the first round.

Van Noy, Bitonio, Tuitt, Matthews, Koundjaio, Hageman, et al.

Off for a few hours sleep anyway. Trying to get through tomorrow and stay up for round two will be a killer. So worth it though! Goodnight lads! :)

Has anyone got a link to a page or table that shows the order of the picks for the rest of the draft? Preferably one that updates itself after trades for picks come in? Can't seem to find one myself.

Lost my Broadband there for awhile and I guess it tried to spare me the shock of knowing who the Pats would pick. The delight that we didn't trade down, was quickly undone by the drafting a guy who blew both his ACL's and who has questionable health.:(

Very happy Ram. Always thought we'd take Robinson but getting Donald as well was a bonus. Defensive line of Quinn, Long, Brockers and Donald. Tasty.

    The Mike Mayock appreciation post

Mayock just can't help himself

Very uneasy about that pick. I mean I'm excited we have a new QB, but damn I wanted Khalil Mack.

That is an awful reach at No. 3.

Mayock, you are a shamless prick.

OK, any other network showing this without Mayock? I mean he f***in "changed his prediction" just before the pick.
Eisen's a tosser, what's the point in banning the shots of the prospects on the phone if you're going to ask Mayock: 'with 5 seconds left what's your thoughts'
Ha I muted it! Did Mayock predict that!
    think everyones muting it now
Mike Mayock: "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LISTEN TO ME LOOK AT ME - I SAID THIS BEFORE YOU SAID THIS, I AM AN AWESOME DRAFT MAN. I CAN READ TWITTER."

Mayock- "well thats what i thought"
no mike thats what you were told in your ****ing earpiece
'Just what I thought' Mayock really is shameless.

The Rams might get some value out of a trade at 13 now with Manziel and Teddy still there.

Would love us to draft JFF ourselves just for the entertainment but can't see it.
    Yeah, he's clearly just psychic.

Lewan is a decent pick for the Titans. I was struggling to think of a player who would be best for them.
did mayock just try to teach michael irvin about rout running???
I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to claim he was the first to create fire.

I just got a reply from rich eisen on twitter after I asked since when was mike mayock a mind reader and him spoiling picks. He said they don't know the picks on set.

Mayock talking about ND players is like asking a parent if there 2 year old can draw, "why yes they draw like Picasso" He should really declare conflict of interests.

Martin is just some guy, delighted we didn't take him & the fact that the Cowgirls did makes it all the better
Maycock and his ridiculous speculation earlier that the Eagles might go for Manziel. Yes that's right Mike, it's not as if Foles had an excellent season.....oh wait he did.

Mayock expects a corner run is coming. I guess some teams didn't land #RevisIsland? Sad
hes been saying that since about pick 12

Can't believe no team took a rolling ball of butcher knives in the first round!

Do these GM's have no clue!

happy with ha ha clinton dix for packers - especially since ebron went much earlier!! Need to recruit a solid TE in the next 2 rounds!! Have a soft spot for vikes and i think they done a solid job in round one!! Wasnt bridgewaters biggest fan but i think any of the top 3 qbs would be an upgrade on cassell!!

Deep Draft this year.. still an awful lot of good players left - that were unlucky to drop to the second round! Found it very strange that browns moved up to 8 to get gilbert when vikes never ever had any interest in him - gave them the pick to trade for bridgewater!

Ja'Wuan James went 74th in our draft.. either we're all very wrong or they are!

They are. Massive reach by Miami.

Miami and Eagle picks very poor.
