A chance to extend the gap for 24 hours at least.

Seems like the issues in Waterford have been resolved painlessly.

Was hoping there would be some fallout just for this week. :)

Croly will be loving the prospect of a dour 0-0. Probably drop McPhail and Finn considering they played on Monday in the League Cup instead.

    Brennan-Bayly-Robinson v Barry Molloy again...zzzzz

Hopefully it's a painless win! Out of work at 5 and straight to Port Lairge!

I know this is a LOI fixtures thread but surely the meeting of DundalkFC v Sligo Rovers in the Setanta Cup final on Saturday warrants some kind of a mention in the OP? Live on the telly aswell like! ;)

    2-0 Pats

Cobh posted on facebook that they have players visiting local schools tomorrow and will give out over 1000 free kids tickets.
If even a quarter of those kids dragged their parents along then that's a huge amount of extra paying supporters through the gate.

Improved performances from Bohs the last games. Win against UCD is a must.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Cant seem to find a red card market on PP, money to be made there.

Ill gladly take a 0-0 tonight. Id imagine after last weeks lesson the defense will have been put through the paces all week.

Wow, Cork equalize. Looks like Lehane the sub had only just come on to the pitch and he scored pretty much straight away.

Poor Backpass from O'Brien. gave the ball too short.

I'm guessing the Pats fans are going a bit mental at the moment. Sickener for Cork.

Holy crap. A clean sheet! First one in nearly a full season and first 0-0 draw in over two years as far as I can remember.

A victory for football and more importantly St Pat's tonight at Richmond Park. Cork are pure and utter filth. At one stage, I thought they'd brought their county bogball team instead of their LOI team.

Conan Byrne is an absolute gem of a player.

Cracking game, Cork frustrated us early and reduced us to no shots. They scored and sat back as expected from an away team, we huffed and puffed until half time. 2nd half we dominated for 20 odd minutes scored 2 and then we sat back....cork then drew us into a boxing match of chances and they scored from a poor back pass. From then on could have went either way, think our subs won it for us tho Brennan for Chambers and he made the 3rd goal. Decent game ref was a joke but hey always is.......

Aside from football had to endure an attempted siege of Taveys Pub by Cork fans before the game, absolute pure and utter scumbags trying to smash their way into a pub, does this mean Cork a ultra hardcore hooligan group now? used to be one of the "safe" games to bring the kids too.

And in the humour of all things football seen 2 tweets tonight from the RSC which are well......

    Damn they deleted:
Shels fans start a riot in the RSC stand
Theres a horse on the pitch in the RSC, i repeat a horse on the pitch

    :D

There was one about a rapist in Richmond Park as well. :o

Couldn't make it tonight but sounded like a deserved win especially as we usually struggle up there. Despite feeling that Croly isn't opening the throttle enough, you can't argue with the position in the league.

Nothing beats Pat fans and exagerations.

Ironically enough, Bucko (and Mahon) always try to turn our games in Richmond into battles.

lol which part was an exageration, I was at the match where the stuff i posted above happened and in the pub that your "crew" tried to attack.

Honny Jayes organised it...... reassemble the letters to figure out which one of your well doubt he is a fan... did it. With Umbrellass nonetheless, weapon of choice in Cork?

****ing clowns they are and guess you are now doing a "rovers" and denying anything ever happened.

What are we exaggerating? The stuff in Tom Tavey's I don't know about.

I'm talking simply on the pitch, that was some woeful stuff from Cork. Cynical.

    Quite embarrassing. :o

Thought the reference was to Cork on the pitch (see Monkey9 post) as opposed to the surprising news that Cork have casuals.

Not convinced it was a red tbh. Don't think it was a clear goalscoring chance (there were other defenders covering) and contact seemed minimal enough.

That said, I doubt we would have played much better with 11. Heary seems to be playing very negatively.
