Has anybody tried Plenty of Fish with success? I am thinking about trying it, and I am looking for more of a relationship from it and I was wondering is it a good dating site?

lets say for example you didnt have many friends could you really face going out and trying to pull on your own?

POF is grand, met a few nice people from it. Ultimately met my boyfriend through work, but I had plenty of nice dates and made a couple of friends from POF. met a lot of complete fxuking nutjobs too, though.

Was on it for 2 days. A pretty depressing experience all round. Any good looking girl on it would get swamped by every chancer on it, so even if you are a bit of a looker, you'll just be in amongst all the other guys on it. On the other hand, when girls messaged me, they were on the larger side of life or else looking for a long term relationship. I quicky abandoned ship and went on Tinder, which has its flaws but at least you can only message someone if it's a mutual match. Plus you don't have to put in your god damn life story on Tinder.

Wasn't calling myself a looker. I'm just saying that there's so much competition on POF, it's quite hard to even get a reply from someone you're interested in, never mind get a conversation going.

Tried it for a while, AHHHHH it was grand, getting 3 or 4 dates from it every week,.. bit too easy if you ask me. I used it for a few months last year, it was not a pleasant experience, i didn't get one date out of it, if fact most women just deleted my messages without even reading them, it turns out i'm too ugly for internet dating.

If you are thinking of doing online dating you will need the thick skin of a rhinoceros and a LOT of self confidence. Otherwise it is incredibly depressing.
