Search for "Foamrollersbydesign" on Facebook and message the page requesting details. Great quality products.

You'll find it hard to get a better quality product than those produced by the guy who runs that page. Any number of members here would recommend his rollers.

If you really need an edge to dig into muscle then get a lacrosse ball or something similar. No foam roller can match that.

You don't need edges - you need pressure. I can tell you they are high quality, I prefer them to my rumble roller and my grid foam roller. The majority of foam rollers with mad designs and crazy ridges on the market are useless because they are too soft.

If you want something to target trigger points by a hockey ball as well.

So basically what your saying is the smaller the surface area of the ball the more pressure being put on the specific area of the muscle? So baseball/lacrosse ball would be good along with the foam roller

Why have you left out lower back should I avoid using either of them there? Also how would I roll delts with such a small ball?

The edges on the grid are soft, so they don't realy dig into the muscle. The rumble roller is stiffer, but the ridges step along the muscle. Which means it might miss important points.

The ones linked above look really good, the thin layer of foam is a good thing. I'd go for one over my Grid if I was in Ireland.
If you wanted to step the intensity up a level. FoamRollers by design are working on a new model. Looks pretty tough

Foam rollers with edges don't roll very well.

The ball is focussing the pressure with a smaller surface area so it can get in amongst certain muscles, like the delts, better.

Use a ball on your lower back. Rolling your back with a roller will risk doing a bit of damage to vertebrae, if I remember correctly. But a ball will get an and target the muscles better without going near the spine.

Think of it like hammering in nails. If you're trying to knock in a few panel pins into a narrow space, you wouldn't use a big sledgehammer because you'd risk damaging the area around it.
