    This looks VERY intense

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,140 ✭✭✭highdef

And it has got even more intense. Looks like Mullingar and Kinnegad are taking a hammering. Another cell has just fired off around Birr, Offaly and is knocking on Tullamores door, where it already raining quite heavily. Surprised of the lack of sparks.

Don' know where Met Eireann are getting their info from. Just listened to the forecast and nowcast. Weather here bears no resemblance. Thick fog and drizzle all morning to date with no sign of it clearing

Agree with you there Roisin, miserable damp weather here in Galway and looking at the latest radar more rain on the way, they said this would clear to a fine Evening from the West so we live in hope.

I had been expecting good things for today, after yesterday's damp squid, and ME's forecasts both days.

However, it has not come to pass. The sun hasn't shown itself for anything more than a few minutes this afternoon and otherwise it just been overcast, albeit warm.
