My doors all lock automatically when the engine is turned on, its a handy feature but as you say it can freak some people out.

On the subject of gearboxes, there are cars to suit all 3 main types. Luxury cars are best suited to slush boxes Sports cars like MX-5s, MR2s and a fe other things that are about the "driver experience". Everything else, daily drivers and very fast cars (super cars and whatnot) are best suited to DSG types.

This argument has got as well worn as the front fog light one.

Youngs modulus is the answer to everything. if you have no idea what the question is asking, massage the figures into youngs modulus and you will pass.

    i </3 structures

Sounds very like the structures exam I had last week. 2 exams and then I'm finished. It's been a seriously hard month tbh. We had an exam Thursday and got the usual of the lecture, x is definitely not coming up it's too difficult, not relevant, it's never been on a past a paper. Open the paper Q1 what was it only x. Not ideal when it was a 4 questions do 4 situation. I never seen so many shocked, annoyed faces. Finished Wednesday so not to bad. Might actually get to clean the golf then :) . There is currently that many flies stuck to the front bumper it's unreal.

so far as i can see it's mostly dark arts and pot luck. everything spins, everything bends, everything is equal and everything breaks.

and whenever i spec a build detail i always sign off with "structural components to engineers spec" and wash my hands of the whole thing. :pac:

I'm forever doing that, the lecturers hate it but they can't do anything baout it because they know I'm right :pac: But yeha for instance tonight I was doing the last bit of a BM diagram, kept getting -1080, redone the sum again exactly as i did no more than ten seconds previous and got 0

Looks a bit rough. Provided it's solid it could probably be cleaned up fairly cheaply though. I can't buy it, it's about as big as one of my shoes. :pac:

I washed my car today and front bumper and number plates was covered in flies as well. I was scrubbing with the sponge for ages and they wouldn't come off.
