No hassles Gvido, the do come up for sale from time to time but getting rarer, save the monies for the next car and then worry about buying bit and bobs for that :)

Anyone know someone with a VW/Audi MK4 (golf) based car interested in an R32 steering wheel? I have mine up for sale.

    Is the S3 gone so?

Nope still here, just removed it to fit the standard S3 wheel.

Bit of craic? How well do you know the world? Play Geoguessr...

the BBC travel website drops you in 5 mystery locations in the world using google street view, wander around looking for clues and when you are ready drop a pin on the map of the world where you think you are.

My score was 9314 (furthest out was 13,000 kms, closet was 141 kms)

doesn't beat my closest of 141 :) i knew it was in Croatia and was on the coast - the clues are there if you look around, check car stickers, company names on the side of trucks etc.

There was a crate with "Cuban Cigars" written on it. It was an aqua park somewhere in Denmark or Norway:mad:

I felt that was way to easy.

There is a currently an A4 1.9 TDi outside my house with 2 Audi alloys, 1 VW alloy and 1 "AMG" alloy. Pretty sure there's 3 different tyre sizes on it to.

He probably 'felt that was ok. :D

Haven't played Geoguesser in months, I get a bit attached.

Closest I've got was in meters, not kilometers.

Spent the last week getting increasingly annoyed with a clicking noise coming from the right hand side of the car. It was coming from the wheels as the clicks would increase in frequency the fast I would go, and they were quite loud too. Today I was maddened by it and decided to take a look. Took the rear wheel off, took a good look around, and couldn't see or hear anything when spinning the hub. Took the front wheel off and noticed a stone wedged in between the tire grooves...:o. Took it out, put the wheels on and it was sorted! Gah, thought something else was messed up on the motor!

The top right centre cap looks fresh enough as well.

Done a bit of sleuthing there and discovered that the focus has all the wiring already in place for the front fogs, so all I need is the lamps, jumper cable, switch for inside and a fuse I think :)

Another thing to check is behind the dash for the trip computer wiring. Also the pin out on the wiper switch (should have 10 pins for it to work), cause if it's a sorted one you can fit the intermittent wiper.

Google images will show you where to look for the trip computer.

    Intermittent wiper

And a relay, more than likely. :)

What is the reason for the two on the left to be dirtier than the other two?

Is it just the dust from brakes that we can see in every car? The kerbs are not high enough to cause this.

Can i assume the first two (on the right) are the front ones?

Well done for replacing them all anyway - clean the alloys properly (which you already did, I believe) and it is the cheapest upgrade possible to the wheels.

I have one missing in the back and it drives me crazy. Can't find a replacement even on ebay:confused: Renault made loads of them in years time, and every single one is different:mad:

    Autobahn, Germany:D

Even the highest horses admitted they did it, but they all did it in Germany:D

RSA stepped in and moved the whole thread to the german server, has to be paid for before an access will be granted:D

So, how fast did you go?

You can share it with us. As long as it was over 121 km/h and in a safe environment:D

I don't know how safe it is to reveal such information here, given that I haven't been on the autobahn, isle of man, or a race track. :pac:

Just add a well known sticker to you signature and we will believe you.

Just keep it real if you still drive the Colt:D

    Signature? What signature?

Colt has been gone for a little over 2 months, and I'm glad it is.
