Then there's the legal age for drinking of 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 year olds. And they dont care.

Do you really think that the only people who get drunk and cause hassle in the country are all aged under 22?

I doubt there will be many 16 to 22 years old at One Direction the next few nights, it will mainly be under 14s and their parents so your definition of the drinking crowd probably won't be present.

I remember reading about the Hardwell gig in Belfast in February.

50 people taken to hospital over taking drink and drugs on the bus before the gig.

Thats something 20 year olds will do and you cant stop them.

But wait a sec, The Beatles wrote and played their own material, they were musicians and songwriters. OD have songwriters on staff and they don't play instruments. Popular music turned upside down, pop has really dumbed down and unfortunately a split has occurred, the boy/girl bands are part of the 'entertainment' industry while musicians are part of the music industry.

There is too much money to be made to have One Direction sitting around writing songs.

The Beatles did definitely start with the hysteria being bigger than the music. Concerts where nobody could hear the music, gangs of girls chasing after them.
