Good luck captain Ramsey, and may god's love be with you

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    My team at the minute:

    Mannone
    Bardsley Chester Coleman
    Ramsey Eriksen Mata Lallana
    Suarez Aguero Rooney(c)

    Subs: Adrian, Silva, Terry, Ward.

-4 already taken. Ramsey and Rooney in for Mirallas and Lukaku.

My opponent has gone -8 so I'm toying with the idea of Evra or Kompany in myself.

Trying to guess his transfers, I think he may have brought in Ramsey, Yaya and Rooney.

    Right.

Need to pick 2 from Azpi, Coleman, Ward and Rosenior...

Have Ward and Azpi on at the moment... Coleman on the bench is not making me feeling great about it though...

No chance Ward will keep a clean sheet so you can cross him off. Azpi probably won't keep one either so play Coleman & Rosenior!

Am chasing two lads who are around 10/15 pts ahead of me,and in jailhouse parlance have another two lads right up my ass:)...all 4 involve money.
Did two transfers, at -4 hit Coleman to Kos and Silva to Mata.
Think that -4 hit on Kos is worth the risk.???.....Had Coleman since day one so was emotional pressing the button to get rid!

Doubt he brought in Yaya unless he did it late yday as even yet it's not 100% he starts this wkd.

**** global ranking and a 3 digit position. -8 taken. Kompany in.

I thought about Evra but he didn't start 2 of the last 3 so Kompany is safer.

I expect Evra to start today but I'd be worried he may not start both of the DGW games.

He needed to replace Silva and Mirallas and did it late last night so I reckon he brought in 2 mids and Rooney.

He also stocked up on DGW players for the last two DGWs so I'd assume he went for Yaya.

With Evertons fixtures, Coleman to Kos is a good move, assuming you're happy with the number of DGWers you have.

Thanks for your quick answer but Palace are tight at the back and on the roll. We've seen City struggle recently vs an average Sunderland side.

Hull concede most often away and Fulham do score in pretty much every game.

My dilemma is wether to play Azpi or Coleman. Maybe Coleman for his attacking potential... Also Southampton are on 2 games without scoring.

I'd play Coleman of those two. Azpi will not keep a clean sheet and offers nothing going forward.

after a 4 point hit my team is
    Mannone

    Coleman - Ward - Shaw

    Ramsey (c) - YaYa - Mata - Nasri

Aguero - Suarez - Rooney (vc)

    subs - Marshall - Chester - Ward-Prowse - Distin

after deciding on ramsey as captain my only other real decisions were mannone or marshall, i keep getting caught out with the away keeper scoring more but once again sticking with the home keeper.

also unsure of ward or chester, i also keep getting caught out with points on the bench for ward and although i don't expect either to keep a cs i'm going with ward, city should score but without the creativity of silva they might find it tough to break down a very stubborn palace defence.

    Decided on me team...

    Mannone
    Zab, Coleman, Mert
    Eriksen, Ramsey, Gerrard, Barkley, Januzaj
    Suarez, Kun

It's going to go either way. Fairly nervous about this week but the weeks I'm happy with the team never end up great :P

    Caught between Boruc and Howard.
Have it on Boruc the home keeper at the moment but the pressure will be on Everton to get a result.
    What do you think?

bit of a coin toss really for the reasons you stated, everton need a result, but i'd edge towards the home keeper too. if he doesn't keep a cs you'd hope he might pick up a couple of bp's for saves with everton attacking a lot.
TBH, i don't think either team will keep a cs in this match, 2 good attacking sides (cue the 0-0 bore)

    Thanks for the thoughts
Will leave it as it is......scoreless draw would be perfect,Coleman is my only other player in the game while rival has Lallana
    Could go either way

My rival did an extra hit this morning to bring him to -8 so I feel more comfortable matching him. Gerrard only came into my team last week but he was sitting really deep and is clearly still struggling through an injury. Bar a penalty I can't see him scoring. Sir Ramsey you have come into my team, don't let me down. Looking at people's teams this week it looks like most will have a similar front 7. I'm not expecting much from Skrtel and Puncheon so anything above 2 points is a bonus.
    Mannone
    Coleman--Zabaleta--Skrtel
    Mata--Nasri--Ramsey--Puncheon
    Suarez--Aguero--Rooney(c)

    Bench: Azpil, Ward, Colback

I've been keeping an eye on my rivals team during the week and he had made two transfers. Based on prices rises and how much his team value jumped overnight, I think I've narrowed it down to Mata and Baines. He made a third transfer last night/this morning that was probably Ramsey. Still a 16 point gap between us, will be happy if this remains double figures after the GW. Aguero is my key differential, so 10 for him please (12 for Ramsey and 15 for Rooney). Nasri needs to pull the finger out too!

Agreed, last week was one of my worst ever. Took an 8 point hit in a 'G-Week' = disaster. And yet this week I've done exactly the same...

    Mannone
    Bardsley Alonso Stones
    eriksen ramsey mata lallana
    suarez rooney(c) aguero
Playing 3 sunderland defenders . Fair chance bardsley wont start seen as he missed their last 2 games and they got two great results. Ward will come in for him if so. Lallana goal would be big for me aswell as neither rival has him.

Very similar to my own. I have Nasri to your Lallana, rest of attackers the same. I also got rid of Terry for Kos, was a -8 but I could see my direct opponent had taken a -12 so well worth it in my eyes

I could really do with a wonder show from Lallana as well. He's dropped off the radar a bit the last few weeks so is due one.

I'd say Roy will be present today with all the English players on display in both sides so hopefully he might lift it.

Edit: 9 of our starting 11s are the same. Your Stones and Alonso to my Coleman and Kompany.

Login and go to their team page and go down towards their transfer history. It says "Gameweek transfers" there and will tell you how many transfers they have made.

My opponent for example made 3 and has none saved so I know he went -8.

Look at gameweek transfers when you click on their team name. It's down the bottom right beside their team value

I thought I couldn't see that till after deadline, ta.
Is it worth going -8 to get in Podolski Ramsey and Aguero for Lukaku Adebayor and Miralles?

My rival 3 ahead and took no hits

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Ramsey and Rooney in for a 4 point hit. Silva and Lukaku out. Hoping for a good week after a bit of a disaster last week. Well not a disaster but could have been so much better. Ended up with 72 -4 but I got rid of Baines and Mirallas. Brought in Kos and Mata. However I flipped a coin for Mata and Ramsey. Of course it landed on Mata.

    Fielding:
    Mannone,
    Coleman, Demichelles, Ward,
    Eriksen, Ramsey, Sterling, Mata,
    Roon, Suaz, Aguero.

Hoping Sterling somehow manages a repeat of last week's performance. (Unlikely but stranger things have happened.) Benched Azpi in favour of Ward. Expect neither to keep a clean sheet but Ward has been immense, so why not?

My troops are ready this week:
    (-8)

    Mannone
    Cahill - Demichelis - Baines
    Eriksen - Ramsey - Mata - Coutinho
    Aguero - Rooney - Podolski (c)

Bench: Salah - Ward - Turner

If Suarez goes nuts then my season will finally be put out of it's misery but if Arsenal put a glut past Newcastle like they should then Podolski could end up with a hat-trick.

I have a ten point lead and GW comes down to:

    Me - Him
    Kompany - Zabaleta

    Eriksen - Yaya

Hard to know what way it will go. The way his lads have been going, I expect Yaya to score two and AJ a hat trick!

    -8
    Rooney captain

What's with this "G-Week" crap? Kill it now!

Anyway, took a -12 for this. Have my main leagues wrapped up so time to take a few risks to improve my global ranking.

    Howard
    Mertesacker Baines Chester
    Lallana Gerrard Nasri Ramsey
    Suarez Rooney(c) Lukaku

Sub: Puncheon - Demel - Ward.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

Not as fond of the hits in my league. So far I've turned the gap to third from 13 to 25points! The two guys joint third have captained Ramsey and Mata while I ended up going with Rooney. Somebody gonna blow the rest away.

Suddenly I need ramsey to do nothing after very nearly captaining him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

Haven't really looked at this, this week, barr doing Barkley to Nasri, and making Ramsey Cpt, both done yesterday.

If I can finish between 200-300k after disastrous free fall earlier in the season, I'll be happy.
