They'll fade. I got none on my first but a few towards the end on my second. I used biooil but I'm skeptical as to whether it did anything. They've faded a lot though and another few months and I'll hardly notice them.

I think i read a few studies that show that nothing helps except time, despite product claims.

They change from reddish-purple to a pale silvery skin colour over time. Just got to wait it out.

I read that argan oil is supposed to help, but really I don't think stretch marks ever really go away, they just get lighter and lighter with time.

As far as I know it's genetic ... all the BioOil in the world won't help ... but they do fade in time! I have a few post-birth, nothing dramatic, but I still hate them and am very conscious of them. :(

I'm not sure about the genetic thing. I didn't get one on my first pregnancy, but got them on my tummy towards the end of my second. I gained less weight second time, ate better and kept up with exercise, while I went to pot on my first, so I reckon it's the luck of the draw.
