Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Really stuck.

Trying to learn "Dissolve" by John Frusciante and I've looked all over the place for how to play these chords with no luck in finding ones that sound right :( I'd really appreciate some help! :)

Tabs here for those who are interested, comments section suggests the tab is wrong so I'm presuming the commenters right and those two chords are the ones I'm supposed to use: http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/j/john_frusciante/dissolve_tab.htm

And here's the song for anyone who needs something to brighten up their day ;)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFeVc7oDZNY&feature=kp

    Badd9 is a full step (2 frets) down/back.

    Example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQNO6jc0D7M

Although doesn't look like the guy is playing the F#(10th on G string) in C#madd9, decide for yourself which sounds better.

I thought Badd9 would have a different shape to C#madd9 due to the fact it's major?

I'm well late getting on to this but you're right, C#madd9 has a slightly different shape.

You should learn how to construct chords from basics, a handy bit of theory to know and simple to get to grips with.
