Anyone know how to get entry for this? They dont have it advertised on the alfred website but afloat are saying they are running the superleagues again over a number of races. I can only find the coastal series entries on their site. I know they had a race in Howth last Saturday

thanks but unfortunatly not thats what I came across earlier. i thought they might have cancelled the superleagues in favour if those coastal races but an article on afloat i read earlier mentioned superleagues. and its nice to visit the southside now and again and play a game of find the next mark at the other end of the bay :D

I thought the coastal races were part of it http://dublinbaywhitesails.wordpress.com/2012/05/19/royal-alfred-yacht-club-superleague-update/ Maybe one of the others will be able to help you out or STEVE over on Dublin bay sailing http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1622

I think the coastal races you're talking about are part of the ISORA series. www.isora.org. As far as I remember RAYC and ISORA joined forces a few years ago.

I haven't heard mention of the superleague lately, could it have been subsumed into the overall ISORA series? (was it round the cans racing, or longer races???) I know they (ISORA) are running about 16 races this year, certain of which are "qualifying races" for the series, and whatever way it's set up you don't actually have to compete in every race, they take your top six or seven results or something like that.

The only RAYC race I heard mentioned at our RO meeting the other day was the Bloomsday/RAYC regatta on 14th June......

ETA - alternatively, their AGM is on 2nd May, if you fancy a visit southside for a night out :D
