Started back at the gym after 4 years off

    So today i started back at the gym , haven't done any sort of psychical exercise or heavy lifting in 4 years , didnt go overboard today or anything :) just wondering can anybody recommend me a good supplement or what kind of foods i should be eating ? :) im 23 , 10.5 stone and about 5"7 .

    You don't need a supplement if you nail your diet. Everything you need to know about diet is in the nutrition stickies. Best place to start :)

    Focus on getting the food clean, lean meat, green veg, drink your water. Steadily get back into it, considering you have been off for so long it might be a good idea to slowly get your body regimented again, and your body doesn't like sudden changes, so nothing drastic. Your body is more concerned about nutrition than calories.

    For supplements, fish oil, a decent whey protein and possibly some creatine would help.

    Thanks for the help lads , will have a look at the stickies , my diet is A1 , always eating healthy :) for a guy that doesnt work out i am fairly lean to just want to gain muscle , would creatine be the best bet it would :)

    As stated above sort your diet out before considering supplements. A lot of people think their diet is healthy when in reality it's not. It might be better than the average person but that's not difficult. Post up a typical day here and we can take a look.

    It entirely depends on what we're talking about. Weight loss or gain is about calories. Health is about nutrition.
