Im looking to buy a monopod and have seen a nice Manfrotto one in Harvey Normans for 75.

My question is: Will i need to buy a head for this? or will my camera fit onto the screw attachment already on the top of it?

This is something on the lines of what I'm looking at.

    Thanks in advance.

it will screw into your camera as is - no tilt and swivel on a monopod like that.

Would you recommend tilt and swivel on a monopod?

Do you already own a tripod? I don't think you will get much use from a monopod really. Only my opinion of course. As for a tilt and swivel head on a monopod it takes away the compactness and handiness of the monopod.

I got a ball head for mine, but found it more of a waist on it. tilt forward for lower or backwards for higher is so much more simple than fiddling with leavers. I also have a brand new Psyche 8101 for sale if your interested
