getting red dye out of white clothes from wash

    Feel free to move if not in right post I put a red throw I got in Asia in the wash (no washing instructions on it) unfortunately hubbys white tee in it too and has turned a nice shade of coral what can I use help :eek

    You can buy dye remover in the supermarket, though tbh you would probably be better off just buying a new tee, as it will never be the same.

    You really don't need washing instructions to know the combination of red + throw = dye run. In fact almost any combination of light colours - especially cotton - and dark is not a good idea. Hence the expression 'doing a whites wash' :D

    You should get 'colour run remover' in any of the major supermarkets (except probably the German multiples; it's a bit specialist for them). I found Dr Beckmann's good (same crowd as make Stain Devils, which are also good when you've a young family).
