Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    2014 Celtic Nations Quizzing Championship
    West County Hotel, Chapelizod, Dublin 20
    26-27 April 2014


    This is your chance to compete against the best quiz brains from Ireland, Scotland and Wales in a number of events open to the public.

    Top quizzers due to take part include:

    - Mark Labbett, "The Beast" from ITV's The Chase
    - Anne Hegerty, "The Governess" from The Chase
    - Barry Simmons, from BBC's Eggheads
    - Mark Grant, current champion of BBC's Brain of Britain
    - Top ranking Irish quizzers

    As well as the all-important Ireland v Scotland v Wales quizzes involving each country's A, B & C teams (which the public are welcome to watch), there are a number of events on Saturday 26th April open to the general quizzing public:


    PUBLIC EVENTS TIMETABLE - Saturday 26th April

    10.30am - Registration for public events
    11am-1pm - Individual Quiz
    1pm-2pm - <Lunch break>
    2pm-4pm - Team Quiz
    Teams will be made up on the day and based on the scores in the individual quiz, with a mix of abilities and nationalities on each team (though you can bring your own team of 4 if you prefer).
    4pm-6pm - "Fifteen to One" style quiz


    Entry fee covering the individual, team and Fifteen to One quizzes is €15.
    No pre-booking is required - just turn up on the day for registration at 10.30am.
